Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information FuzonTech POS handles, why, and the choices you have. It covers two groups: the shop owners and staff who use the Service, and the customers of those shops whose details a shop records in the Service.

Information we handle

  • Account details: your shop name, username and role, and a password that is stored only as a one-way hash. When you sign up we also keep your mobile number and your email address, which you confirm with a one-time code we email to it. Staff users added by a shop have the same details, and may include an email address and full name if the shop enters them.
  • Messages to us: if you use the contact form on this website, the name, email address, optional mobile number and message you send. We email them to our team so that we can reply.
  • Shop records: products, prices, invoices and reports and, if the shop chooses to record them, customer details such as name, phone number, email, address, GSTIN, and loyalty or credit balances.
  • Technical and security information: sign-in times, and the IP address of important account actions (for example creating a shop or adding a user), which we keep in an audit log.
  • Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Razorpay. We keep references to your subscription, not your card details.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, bill and support shops, contact shop owners about their accounts, prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Shops and their customers

For customer details entered by a shop, the shop decides what to collect and why, and is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. We process that information on the shop’s behalf to run the Service.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the Service, such as payment processing (Razorpay), email delivery (which carries verification codes and contact-form messages) and our hosting infrastructure, and where the law requires it. Inside the Service, each shop’s data is kept separate from every other shop’s.

Security

Connections to the Service use HTTPS, and passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Access to a shop’s data is limited to that shop’s authorised users and, for support and security, our platform staff — whose access is logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose strong passwords and tell us if you suspect a problem.

Storage on your device

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep a shop’s records while it is active. When a shop asks us to delete it, deletion is scheduled with a 90-day grace period. After that, staff and customer personal details are erased or anonymised, and the email address and mobile number given at sign-up are deleted. Invoices are kept in anonymised form so that a shop’s accounting history stays intact. One-time verification codes are deleted within a few days, and contact-form messages, which are emails to our team, are kept while we deal with your request.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete personal information, to delete your shop, or to explain how your information is handled. Shop owners can edit most records directly in the Service. If you are a customer of a shop, please contact that shop first.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at children.
